Marianne leads Genioo’s Marketing & Communications function and is responsible for strengthening the Genioo brand in the marketplace and helping to grow the business.
Marianne brings more than a decade of global marketing experience, with a proven track record of developing global marketing strategies, managing successful global campaigns that deliver measureable bottom-line impact and building marketing functions from the ground up.
Marianne is passionate about ensuring the marketing function delivers meaningful results to the business and that the right technologies and tools are in place to track, measure and report on ROI.
Marianne was previously Head of Global Marketing for Efficio, a global procurement consultancy. There, she built up a global marketing function and transformed the perception of marketing from being a cost centre to a demand-generating function. In this role, she introduced a thought-leadership programme, including a corporate magazine, a series of global events and a lead-generation approach to marketing through global campaigns.
Prior to this, Marianne held marketing roles at Tricor, KPMG Boxwood and BDO.
Marianne is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Marianne holds a BA in Modern Languages (Spanish and Mandarin) with Management Studies from Newcastle University and an Advanced Post-Graduate Diploma in Management Practice from the University of Ulster.
Marianne is Salesforce ADM201-qualified.
Marianne is passionate about traveling and exploring new countries and cultures. She loves food, cooking and discovering the local food and cocktail scene. She tries to keep fit and is a keen runner. She is enjoying exploring Switzerland, the outdoors, hiking and is learning to ski. Family is important to her and she tries to see her family in the UK & Ireland as much as possible.
