Mascha Wolf

As the Global Head of People, Mascha and her teams support all the aspects of the employee lifecycle, from initial contact to onboarding and ongoing career development and progression.

Mascha is particularly passionate about helping people and organizations to maximize their potential in a way that is both meaning and impactful to them. She believes this is the most exciting moment to be part of Genioo's team as we build an extraordinary workplace and team culture.

Previous experience

Prior to Genioo, Mascha worked at SABMiller Procurement, leading the development of the global Procurement Academy, the learning offering supporting the firm’s procurement teams worldwide.

Mascha also worked for more than 10 years with McKinsey & Company in their Middle East and Swiss offices. She was the Professional Development Manager for the Middle East office, supporting unparalleled growth from a small emerging market office with about 40 consultants to becoming a regional cluster with multiple offices and several hundred consultants.

During her time with McKinsey Switzerland, Mascha supported several editions of the Venture Business Plan competition, a joint initiative between ETH Zurich, McKinsey & Company, Knecht Holding, Innosuisse and EPFL, which empowers young innovators to develop their business ideas into start-up companies.

Education

Mascha holds an Executive Master’s in Consulting and Coaching for Change from INSEAD, as well as a Master’s in Islamic Studies from Zurich University.

Languages: Native German, fluent in English, Italian and Spanish and proficient in French and Persian

Other positions

As a certified Immunity to Change coach and someone with a passion for enabling others to learn, Mascha supported the first edition of the HarvardX/EdX MOOC Unlocking the Immunity to Change course as a volunteer staff member.

Interests

Mascha believes there is no better way to learn about other cultures than to be living it, whether you immerse yourself through language, literature or cooking traditions.

Mascha has a keen interest in the art of storytelling and mythology and never tires of chasing fairytales around the globe. Her other guilty pleasure is to watch psycho-thrillers and crime series. (She would quite fancy herself in a career as a profiler!)
