John Paul (JP) Lee

As Head of Client Operations, JP is focused on further accelerating the evolution of Genioo’s service model for clients and building centers of excellence to better serve clients. 

In his previous role, JP built and led five centers of excellence across the globe, created a project management software tool and redesigned the end-to-end service model of his business unit. His efforts resulted in a 200%+ growth in revenue and profits and the highest level of customer satisfaction, NPS:70. 

Previous experience

JP joined Genioo from Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), where he served as SVP and Global Head of GLG Surveys. He executed a successful turnaround of the business unit, turning it into one of the fastest-growing and most-profitable units.  While leading GLG Surveys, he also held the position of Head of Operations for GLG Strategic Solutions, the advanced product group of GLG which encompasses Surveys. 

Prior to GLG, JP spent four years at McKinsey & Company, during which he led client and engagement teams to deliver sustainable value across various industries including Technology, Healthcare and Financial Services.  

JP also held positions at Li & Fung as an Operations Supervisor and Hana Bank as a Research Analyst. He  completed two years of military service as Sergeant & Squad Leader with the US-Korean Joint Communications Division of the Combined Forces Command.  

Education

JP holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He received his Bachelor's degree in business from Yonsei University in South Korea.  

Volunteering

JP and his family are Seeing Eye volunteers, raising and training newborn puppies until they are old enough to become guide dogs. 

Interests

JP is into all things fitness, including extreme home workouts, Peloton and scuba-diving. He also enjoys traveling (especially to the Caribbean!) with his wife and two daughters.
